I grew up in the North Country of New York State, graduated from St. Lawrence University in '65 and as a searching Liberal Arts grad I joined the Peace Corps from '65 to '67.  I returned to the US to start my teaching career in Northern New York State.  Left again for 3 years in Turkey, returned to get an MA in Engl. Ling. in ESL at U of Utah.  Taught at a Navajo school in New Mexico and finally settled in Louisiana. I'm an itinerant ESL/English Teacher, ready to help where needed.


I have a wonderful daughter who is following her own path to realize her hopes and dreams. She has joined Americorps and I'm sure will contribute to the program as much as she will benefit from the experience.  She is thoughtful of her friends and famiy.  I'm very proud of her.
